Pure HollowFiber
Hollowfibre is a naturally occurring fiber made by combining cellulose fibers with lignin. Lignin is a complex organic compound found in woody materials. The combination of these two components makes hollowfibre very absorbent.
Whether its bringing your home-sewn creations to life or simply fluffing up a pillow, our hollow fiber is perfect for stuffing them with soft, washable and reliable filling.
How does it work?
Hollowfibre has been used as a filler since ancient times. In fact, the Romans used it to stuff mattresses. Today, hollowfibre is still used to make pillows, cushions, and other products.
Why use hollowfibre?
Hollowfibre comes from plants called flax. Flax grows naturally in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. It’s harvested by hand and then processed into a pulp. This pulp is made into sheets that are dried and pressed together. After drying, the sheets are cut into strips and twisted into yarn. These yarns are then spun into thread. Finally, the thread is woven into fabric.
How do I stuff with it?
You can use hollowfibre as stuffing for toys, pillows, cushions, and other stuffed items. To make hollowfibre, simply fill a container with the material and let it dry out. Then, remove any excess material and store it in an airtight container.
